With a 4.2 GPA and a 4.3-something 40, is it any wonder why Raleigh’s Keith Marshall has football scholarship offers from schools like Notre Dame, Florida, Georgia, Stanford, Alabama, USC and of course, all of the Triangle-area schools? He is considered by many experts as the top running back in the country for the Class of 2012.

Marshall was even once timed at 4.2 seconds in the 40-yard-dash. That’s just incredible. Naturally, he is also one the nation’s top high school runners in the 100-meter dash.

With the start of high school football in the Triangle just around the corner, the pressure on Marshall to decide where he’ll take his talents is only going to increase. However, like his performance in other areas of his life, we can trust Marshall will remain grounded during the often heated, high-stakes college recruiting process.

Marshall will be able to graduate from high school early and thus enroll in the college of his choice’s winter 2012 semester. From there, it appears that only the sky will be his limit.

If you like football, be sure to find a Millbrook game sometime this fall. They play in the Cap 8 conference with other area schools Enloe, Broughton, Heritage, Leesville Road, Sanderson, Wake-Forest Rolesville and Wakefield.
