Forbes gives families the #1 and #2 reasons to move to Raleigh
After hearing us talk about it so often, it’s refreshing to hear someone else say great things about the place in which we live. Yes, Forbes is often that other complimentary party. That’s fine with us.
In the last two weeks, Raleigh (and really, the entire Triangle community) has been named Forbes’ #1 Place in America for Business and Careers and is its #2 Next Big Boom Town. Now, the first accolade never gets old. As Realtors we love it and as current residents we love it. It’s a win-win. The Boom Town stat though, is somewhat redundant—in a good way. Essentially, Raleigh, Cary and all the other Triangle communities have been growing steadily for the last 20 years, as people come for the affordable housing, great weather and outstanding academic environment.
Although, like we said, it’s great to hear from it someone else once in a while.
